COURTESY VISIT TO THE NATIONAL JUDICIAL INSTITUTE

 The Albino Foundation paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Justice Salisu Garba, Former Chief Judge, now Administrator of the National Judicial Institute on the 24th of August.



The meeting started with Mr. Epelle congratulating the Honorable Justice on his appointment as Administrator of the National Judicial Institute.

He further did an introduction and an overview of The Albino Foundation, followed with the intention.

 

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss:
-The need for Disability Inclusion worldwide, and to mainstream it in the judicial training manual.


-Support from The Albino Foundation to the institute with training manuals and resource persons.


-Date for training Judges on Disability Inclusion.


-Developing an inclusion manual and work with the institute to infuse it in the judicial curriculum, in order to provide full access to justice.


-Provide modules and the needed resource persons from the Foundation.


Mr. Jake gave his assurance of support toward the judicial institute, and commended the Administrator’s recognition of Inclusion.
